From local farms to living foods

At Micro Mamas, we make high-quality kimchi using locally sourced ingredients from trusted New Hampshire farms. We ferment every batch in stainless steel vessels to ensure a clean, consistent process and exceptional flavor. Our mission is to support local farmers, strengthen our regional food system, and create nutritious, organic fermented foods people can trust while caring for our community and the environment.

Stephanie Zydenbos is the Owner, founder, CEO, and facilitator, of Micro Mama’s in Weare NH who makes prebiotic & probiotic fermented organic foods for the well being of people, places, and things. One of Stephanie’s greatest satisfactions is working with plants and the natural world to achieve mutually beneficial and innovative solutions

Stephanie Zydenbos is the Owner, founder, CEO, and facilitator, of Micro Mama’s in Weare NH who makes prebiotic & probiotic fermented organic foods for the well being of people, places, and things. One of Stephanie’s greatest satisfactions is working with plants and the natural world to achieve mutually beneficial and innovative solutions that impact the challenges facing local food webs, local economies, and for the joy of it all. She introduced the ancient tradition of fermenting vegetables as NH’s first free standing commercial producer. Her products promote diverse health benefits, and taste that consumers, chefs, food service directors, and the health care professionals crave and desire.

Picadilly Farm - Winchester NH

We have joyfully worked with Bruce and jenny since 2020, they grow the majority of our beautiful cabbage, beets, carrots & turnips (adding scallions this year). Thank you Wooster Family & we love you!

We have a commitment to local farmers, with organic integrity. Right here in New Hampshire we have everything we need, and we love to support our own.

How its made

Different from anything you may see along the East of the Mississippi, we don't ferment in plastic. We made a commitment to you from the beginning. Our process involves stainless steel vessels to ensure you get the best quality. While other brands pack their finished products in glass you are not assured that it's not fermented in plastic.

How its packaged

Our commitment to reducing microplastic exposure extends beyond how we make our kimchi to how we package it. Every batch is carefully packed in glass jars to preserve its exceptional quality and flavour, from our kitchen to your fridge.
